The JAC warranty covers your Ute, one end to the other: every part, panel, and accessory (if fitted at time of purchase), inside and out, including paint and rust perforation, but only for manufacturing defects.

During the warranty period, authorised JAC Dealers will conduct necessary repairs or replacements using genuine JAC parts to correct any defects in material or workmanship covered by this warranty. The work will be done without charge (being either the cost of the parts or labour) to you. This is to address any defects in original equipment components of the JAC vehicle arising from normal use and operation in Australia. When the vehicle is delivered to the authorised JAC Dealer, a reasonable duration must be given to complete the necessary diagnosis, repairs or replacements.

Your local JAC Dealer will assist you with any warranty related claims.

Your coverage starts when the JAC Ute is first registered with the State Department of Transport, which means:

• For new Utes: When you or the dealer registers it
• For demos: When the dealer first registers it

Exclusions include:

• Normal wear and tear
• Misuse or damage
• Modifications (if found to be the cause of the failure)
• Consumables (tyres, brake pads, battery)
• Any damages proven to be caused by a third party such as due to a car accident

No, you can service your JAC at any licensed repairer. However, we highly recommend using one of our authorised JAC Dealerships with the following in mind:

• They are equipped with specialised JAC Tools and Equipment for servicing and repairs
• All JAC Technicians undergo extensive factory training
• They are authorised warranty repairers
• They only use genuine JAC Parts and Accessories

Your warranty may not be covered if any third-party repairer has caused any damage to your JAC Ute, such as by using non-genuine parts.

If you’re using a non-JAC service repairer, we recommend the following:

• Keep detailed RO (Repair Order) invoices of all the work done
• Save receipts for all parts and fluids used
• Ensure logbook schedules are maintained and stamped

All JAC Genuine Accessories are covered for a period of 7 years, just as long as they are installed on a new JAC T9 by an authorised JAC Dealership at the time of purchase of your new JAC Ute.

If the JAC Accessories are fitted after the original purchase date, it will only be covered by the JAC Limited Parts Warranty which is 12 months or 30,000km from the accessory purchase date.

Every 15,000 km or 12 months. This is covered by our Capped Price Servicing^{^}, which is a fixed price, for a period of 7 years or 105,000KM which ever occurs first.

Possibly yes. The warranty covers your vehicle for manufacturing defects. However, if a modification is found to be the cause or a contributing factor in the failure, it is considered the fault of the modification, not the manufacturer, and therefore would not be covered.

That's why we recommend purchasing genuine JAC Accessories when you originally purchase your vehicle to ensure you’re covered for 7 years^{^}.

Yes. Warranty, Roadside Assistance and Capped Price Servicing are all transferable.
